Live Scan Fingerprinting

Live Scan is an inkless, electronic means of capturing fingerprints in a digitized format and then transmitting them to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and/or the FBI. Previously, fingerprints were taken by applying ink to each finger, then rolling each finger on a fingerprint card.

Level 2 screening for individuals seeking employment in various healthcare settings under the ORI# EAHCA020Z. A photograph will be collected at the time of the appointment by one of our trained technicians. Please contact your employer if you are unsure of the reason or ORI# for which you need to be fingerprinted.

Background checks

Background checks

Level 1 generally refers to a state only name based check AND an employment history check. Level 2 generally refers to a state and national fingerprint based check and consideration of disqualifying offenses, and applies to those employees designated by law as holding positions of responsibility or trust.

The Terms and Conditions set forth by our authorizing agency — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement — are strictly adhered to. We take every measure possible to meet our commitment to the community. We utilize state-of-the-art Live Scan systems with exceptional performance and portability. Our equipment is impeccably maintained and cleaned after each record is captured. Our tables are updated regularly to ensure our clients’ the most current processing pathways.

Client records are purged after 40 days to ensure their safety. At no time do any of the MBS staff use our Live Scan systems to access the internet which could allow for a possible security breach. Copies of Client Live Scan forms are kept locked and secure, with limited authorized access only. Client personal information is never shared. As per the FDLE Terms & Conditions, copies of Client expired Live Scan forms are shredded after one year. At the time of shredding an MBS supervisor is present to confirm all documents have been properly disposed of. Our staff is expert Live Scan fingerprint technicians. They receive intensive training not only in proper fingerprint rolling techniques but also in government documents and request forms. Many of our field professionals are former law enforcement personnel. They bring you years of combined experience in technology, Live Scan, and the law.
